Hi! I’m Aastha. 

I’m studying data science at UC Santa Barbara, also pursuing a Professional Writing Minor (Multimedia Communication). 

I love learning about the world, especially through data and the stories it can tell. I’m interested in how data helps us see what’s otherwise invisible, whether it’s a pattern, a story, or a question we didn’t think to ask. I’ve featured some of my favorite projects on this page. 

My interests primarily include data visualization, machine learning, and building interactive, user-centered tools on the web.

I also love: friends and family, media that makes you feel something, whisking a cup of matcha, sharing my thoughts on Substack, and farmers markets.
